Ashoka Fellow, 2008 for aProCh

 

Ms Kiran Bir Sethi was awarded the Ashoka Fellowship 2008 for "aProCh - A Protagonist in every Child".  Ashoka Fellowship is the most prestigious award in the social entrepreneurship awarded by the Ashoka Foundation, USA.  It is given to change makers who inspire and provide system changing solutions for the world's most urgent social problems.  Past noted Ashoka Fellows from Asia include: Mohammed Yunus - Founder of Grameen Bank, Bangladesh and Nobel Peace Prize winner and Sakeena Yakoobi - Founder of Afghan Institute of Learning. 

 

aProCh wins the Ashoka American Express "Serve2Gether" Consultancy award.

 

 

aProCh team invited for “Asia Pacific Regional Dinner for 2013 FT/Citi Urban Ingenuity Award at Singapore”


aProCh declared the Runner up at ASIA-PACIFIC region for FT/Citi Urban Ingenuity Award

 

aProCh Invited to present at a national consultation on inclusion of child-friendly components in Urban Renewal Schemes and Policies in India organized by Humara Bachpan Campaign and PRAXIS in New Delhi on June 19, 2014.

 

Paper written for Child in the City was accepted from more than 200 entries. Priyanka  invited as a speaker for presentation in Belgium in November, 2016
